There's quite a storm of thoughts surrounding the upcoming SBC Meeting and the potential effects of the Great Commission Resurgence Task Force's report there. It seems that there is a sharply divided line between those who support it's reporting and those whom don't.
Check out THIS post regarding the subject of "why the recommendations are good for churches of all sizes". I think it pretty much nails it.
It would seem that the SBC is poised to either take in the first fresh breath of air that it's had in quite some time or choose to continue down the same path that has lead to it's current state and will eventually lead to it's demise.
I'm praying that out of this, the SBC gains a bright new tomorrow. Your thoughts?
